Terms of Service for Governance Atlas

1. Introduction

Welcome to Governance Atlas. These terms govern your use of our services, information products and goods related to corporate governance education and board best practices. By engaging with Governance Atlas, you agree to comply with these terms.

2. Definitions

Services refer to training sessions, workshops and consulting on board best practices. Information products refer to digital courses, guides and downloadable resources. Goods refer to physical materials such as printed manuals.

3. Services

Our services include in-person and virtual events delivered in various formats. Fees and scheduling details are provided upon registration.

4. Information Products

Digital courses and guides are accessible via online portal. Access credentials are provided after receipt of payment.

5. Goods

Printed manuals and other materials are shipped to the address provided at purchase.

6. Payment and Refund Policy

All fees must be settled prior to the start of any service, delivery of any information product or shipment of goods.

Refunds for services: If you cancel at least 14 days before the scheduled start date, we will issue a full refund within 30 days of cancellation. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the start date, a credit toward a future service is offered in lieu of a refund. Certain premium consulting packages are non-refundable due to resource allocation. This will be clearly stated in the service description.

Refunds for information products: You may request a refund within 7 days of access if less than 10% of the content has been viewed. Requests received after this period are not eligible.

Refunds for goods: Customers must send goods back in unused condition and in original packaging. A refund request must be made within 14 days of delivery. Upon approval, a refund will be processed within 30 days of merchandise receipt by Governance Atlas. Shipping costs for sending merchandise back are the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds are processed via the original payment method. For transfers, customers may reschedule a service date once at no extra cost if done at least 7 days before the original date.

7. Transfers and Rescheduling

Services may be transferred to another participant or rescheduled subject to availability and must be requested at least 7 days prior to the session. Information products and goods are not transferable.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our offerings after changes indicates acceptance.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
